This includes procurement operations, invoice processing, supplier management, accounts payable, supply chain systems, and customer success activities. This position leads enterprise-wide initiatives to improve automation, enhance transparency, enforce policy compliance, and improve user experience within procurement and disbursement operations. The Executive Director ensures consistent application of policy, accountability to financial controls, and a positive user experience for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Serving as a key bridge between Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and end-user departments, the Executive Director oversees the optimization of supply chain systems (including Workday ERP and related automation platforms), promotes working capital efficiency, and leads change management efforts to scale best practices across the enterprise. As the champion of the Customer Success team, this leader ensures responsive, proactive support for system users and elevates the end-to-end P2P experience as a strategic advantage for the organization. The position is responsible for enterprise policy development, internal customer education, performance metrics, and oversight of supplier onboarding and resolution workflows. The Executive Director also partners with sourcing, analytics, compliance, and vendor management teams to resolve discrepancies, enhance visibility, and strengthen organizational alignment with strategic goals. Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Workday), e-invoicing tools, and P2P automation platforms. Proven ability to drive process improvements, implement internal controls, and promote compliance with healthcare audit standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across functions and levels.
Additional Job Description Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience:
10 years progressive work experience and 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain, P2P, or finance operations.
