EssentialDuties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement category strategicsourcing plans to meet organizational goals and large-scale savingsand performance initiatives to better serve our end user customers.
Executes supplier selection strategy, requirements, supplier basedevelopment, and the identification of new suppliers. Identify anddevelop relationships with local suppliers to ensure a reliablesupply chain and a network of resources are in place. Conductmarket research to find the best local sources and evaluate theircapabilities and performance to meet our expectations. Leadsnegotiations, manages RFQs, awarding decisions and follow-up withsuppliers, in alignment with our with category strategy. Draft,negotiate, and manage master agreements with suppliers in line withstrategy, other GEA BUs and our overall Pharma Service businessneeds. Ensure all agreements, defined internally as tradeagreements are up-to-date, compliant with regulations, and reflectthe best terms for the organization. Adapts and implementscatalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional level incompliance with guidelines. Implement and maintain qualitystandards for all purchased goods and services. Perform regularquality audits and work closely with suppliers to address anyissues and drive performance improvements. Monitors andcommunicates performance of suppliers to management. Develops andmaintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Prepare detailedreports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and pricingtrends. Maintain accurate records and documentation for allprocurement activities. Direct involvement in and solving of issueswith suppliers (e.g., quality, delivery and service issues), etc.
Conduct thorough data analysis to ensure cost development andcompetitive pricing. Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuationsto make informed decisions. Strives for automation anddigitalization practices and utilizes such tools for efficienciesand overall improvement Ensures cost, availability, innovation, andquality within the sourcing plan creation and execution isexemplary Ensures compliance with the procurement process, policiesand other statutory requirements within category procurementAccountable for achieving agreed KPIs and their reportingExperience preferred in the pharmaceutical or life sciencesindustry or food processing, is preferred Your Profile /
Qualifications Education and Experience:
??Bachelor’s degree inSupply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fieldpreferred Minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategic sourcing,procurement, or price and data analysis Strong understanding oflocal sourcing, contract negotiation, and quality assurancepractices Proven record of managing supplier relationships andachieving cost savings Procurement or Supply chain Certification(preferred) Know-how of international contract management Costanalysis and management Experience with implementation of corporateprocurement Work experience in complex multinational organizationsMust be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to varioussupplier/vendor locations, and once or twice a yearinternationally. The typical base pay range for this position atthe start of employment is expected to be between $85,000.00

The estimated range isthe budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based onvarious factors, including skill set, experience, location,qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
