Purchasing Manager Position Available In Kershaw, South Carolina

Purchasing Manager Wolfe Mechanical & Equipment, INC. 423 Highway 601 South, Lugoff, SC 29078 Purchasing / Shipping Receiving Manager This position will require the following duties:

• Sending material list out for pricing
• Managing and overseeing two shipping and receiving employees.
• Ordering all materials for shop and field jobs per management.
• Record receiving paperwork onto Bill of Materials per QC requirements.
• Record pricing on packing list to ensure it matches invoices received from vendors.
• Gathering and recording Material Test Reports for all materials ordered.
• Be able to drive forklift, unload, and load trucks responsibly.
• Conducting annual inventory checks on materials.
• Overseeing maintenance schedules on all equipment and company vehicles.
• Communicating with customers to arrange shipment of tanks and other products.
• Arranging 3rd party transport for deliveries outside of Wolfe Mechanicals delivery radius.
• Arranging permitting through SC DOT or other DOT offices when deliveries are made within Wolfe Mechanical delivery radius.
• Responsible for all DOT monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting on semi-truck.
• Overseeing materials in the yard, keeping the yard organized, and selling scrap when needed.
• Scheduling boom truck jobs, communicating with customers and crane operator to ensure job can be done and is completed on time. You will be working on premises at 423 Highway 601 S Lugoff, SC 29078 during the following hours: 8:00 AM
• 5:30 PM Monday
• Thursday & 8 AM
• 12 PM on Fridays. As an employee of Wolfe Mechanical and Equipment Co Inc., you will receive paid time off that will be agreed upon in advance for such times as are mutually convenient between the employer and employee. PTO schedule for employees is as follows:
• Year 1-3: 1 week
• Year 3-10: 2 weeks
• Year 10-20: 3 weeks
• Year 20+: 4 weeks In addition to your salary, you will be entitled to the following benefits after 90 days of employment:

Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing and procurement processes Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control Familiarity with sourcing, vendor management, and logistics Ability to manage procurement management and MRP effectively
