Our Customer Services (CS) teamseeks a passionate visionary for our Strategic Procurement team towork with suppliers, maintenance sites, project teams, and partnersto support the transit and high-speed rail markets. Your primary responsibility will be to lead all aspects ofstrategic procurement for our Customer Services (CS) Business Unitin the US. This role will involve developing and implementingprocurement strategies for our domestic markets and ensuring ahigh-performance supply chain. Ideally, you have extensiveknowledge of local supply markets in rolling stock service andoverhaul commodities, as well as experience in service and projectbusiness. Most importantly, you will mentor and lead your team of20 Category and Project Procurement Managers, effectivelyaddressing business expansion and encouraging a growth mindsetculture.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Ensure the resilience of the CS business unit supply chain andgrow the supply base across a diverse range of categories,including rolling stock maintenance, spares, software, andinfrastructure. Driving cost reduction initiatives across bids and multi-yearprojects Developing and implementing sustainable strategic procurementactivities Implementing industry-leading sourcing processes and ensuringpurchase-to-pay compliance. Driving continuous improvement and digitalization within theteam and the supply chain, monitoring supply marketconditions. Managing and engaging a global procurement network withpreferred suppliers to drive innovation and performance. Identifying and handling procurement risks, opportunities,potential changes, and claims throughout the service lifecycle Building and maintaining partnerships to support both productand project segments. To excel in this role, you should have: Over 10 years of experience as a Procurement Professional, withat least 5 years of leadership experience and the ability to travelapproximately 30%. Hands-on knowledge of supply chain management and the USdomestic rail service markets Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability toquickly establish trust and confidence. The basesalary range for this position in Lexington, NC, is $172,800 -$233,800, and the annual incentive is 20% of the base salary.
