Job Purpose Act as a change agent, leading LP’s evolution in best practice procurement capabilities by implementing an operating model and governance structures where strategic sourcing is driven from an enterprise-wide perspective always considering global dynamics. Strong relationship skills and the ability to interface at all levels of the enterprise will help this person successfully manage any resistance and work through the challenges common with organizational change. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Collaborate with leadership to establish both short-term and long-term Procurement strategies and objectives. Elevate Procurement’s status and advocating on Procurement’s behalf both with executive management and with departmental peers. Drive Procurement change across the company. Develop and maintains strong relationships with business unit leadership, other internal stakeholders and strategic supplier partners and actively seek to demonstrate value. Communicate strategies, priorities, goals, challenges, and results to COMPANY’s executives and stakeholders. Lead COMPANY’s enterprise strategic sourcing program and supports complex sourcing efforts and negotiations with preferred and high value vendors. Global process champion, innovating, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities in Procurement processes, procedures, and systems, and governance structures. Build a best-in-class Procurement organization by hiring / retaining and developing top talent. Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations. Negotiate and promote agreements that prioritize safety requirements while proactively exploring new technologies to enhance operational safety conditions Perform other duties as necessary. What do I need to be successful? At least 10 years of experience in Business, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, or Consulting Demonstrated management capabilities, especially related to leading strategic initiatives, driving performance, leading change efforts, and producing superior results SAP and SAP Ariba experience is desirable Any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
