07/02/2025 This is an on-site position. How you make a difference in this role: As the Fleet Procurement Supervisor you will be responsible Fleet Management for State Government Agencies. The Fleet Procurement Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting and overseeing the acquisition, assignment, and lifecycle management of fleet assets. This position ensures compliance with procurement policies, facilitates accurate data management, and provides backup support across multiple fleet operations functions. This position collaborates with internal teams and external agencies to manage fuel programs, vehicle assignments, lease processes, and asset tracking systems. A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a working knowledge of fleet management systems and procurement processes are essential to success in this role. This position reports to the Fleet Management Program Manager. The position works on site, with a monthly starting salary of $4,517. Job Overview:

Assist with fuel card programs (e.g. Fuelman and WEX). Support contract usage and purchasing guidelines. Support receiving and processing of new assets and lease vehicles. Coordinate asset transfers and assignment entries. Process and review assignment changes in internal systems (e.g. BOT, Edison). Ensure accuracy in asset tracking, meter corrections and GL Coding. Learn and utilize reporting queries and spreadsheets. Understand and assist with unique procurement needs. Monitor fair market values and fuel cost reporting. Assist in preparing for annual outreach and budget planning meetings. Provide backup support across fleet management procurement functions as needed.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree AND experience equivalent to substantial (five or more years of) full-time increasingly responsible professional staff administrative experience. Substitution of Experience for

Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub professional, paraprofessional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. Substitution of Education for

Additional graduate coursework in public administration, business administration, or other acceptable field may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years. OR Four years of increasingly responsible professional administrative services experience with the State of Tennessee.
