We are seeking adynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Strategic Sourcing tojoin our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significantimpact on our fast-growing organization in the manufacturingindustry. The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspectsof sourcing strategy to effectively manage costs and ensure thecompany’s competitiveness in the marketplace. The role requires astrategic thinker with a strong understanding of global markets andexcellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop andimplement strategic sourcing strategies that support the company’sbusiness goals and objectives. 2. Lead negotiations with suppliersto secure advantageous terms and conditions. 3. Manage supplierrelationships and performance, ensuring high levels of service andquality. 4. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers andpotential partnerships. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto identify sourcing needs and requirements. 6. Develop andimplement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements. 7.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.8. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and conduct riskmanagement for supply contracts and agreements. 9. Oversee a teamof sourcing specialists, providing guidance and support to ensuretheir success.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business,Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or otherrelevant post-graduate qualification is highly desirable. 2. Aminimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing orprocurement in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven track recordof managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts. 4.Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound businessjudgement. 5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability tocreate financial reports and conduct cost analyses. 6. Strongleadership skills with the ability to manage and develop ahigh-performing team. 7. Excellent communication and negotiationskills. 8. Proficiency in procurement software and other related ITsystems. 9. Strong project management and decision-making skills.10.
