The Food Bank Agency Relations Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner agencies to ensure effective food distribution and compliance with program guidelines. This role involves providing support, training, and resources to partner organizations, monitoring compliance with food safety regulations, and facilitating communication between the food bank and its network of agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for partner agencies, providing guidance and support to enhance food distribution efforts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to meet program requirements. Conduct site visits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and organizational policies. Coordinate agency training sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for partner agencies. Track agency performance, food distribution data, and program effectiveness. Address agency concerns, resolve issues, and facilitate clear communication between agencies and the food bank. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth logistics and inventory management for partner agencies. Assist in grant applications and reporting by providing agency-related data and impact stories. Support community outreach and engagement efforts to expand agency partnerships and improve service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit program coordination, community relations, or partner management. Strong relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working with diverse communities and nonprofit organizations. Knowledge of food assistance programs, food safety regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to collect and analyze data to assess program impact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and database management. Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
