General Responsibilities To ensure strategic initiatives and special projects result in the desired outcomes and are aligned with the mission and vision of UAB Medicine’s Digital Health Department. Responsible for driving these outcomes, measuring results, escalating risks and obstacles, and ensuring communication throughout the organization. Primary responsibilities include program support, project management, end-to-end development and execution of strategic initiatives. To actively drive progress across the enterprise for assigned projects, serve in various settings while working within a multidisciplinary team. Key Duties & Responsibilities 1. Organizes and manages key Digital Health program initiatives, including developing timelines, setting up and leading work groups, and managing overall efforts to meet program requirements 2. Effectively collaborates with physician leaders and health system stakeholders 3. Staffs and manages committee and work group meetings, including setting agendas, preparing schedules, and preparing minutes and materials to support committee work 4. Works with digital health office operational leaders to organize meetings to support evaluation and implementation of new programs 5. Organizes financial and quality analysis efforts to support programs, including data analysis and report development to track program status, developing materials for work groups 6. Monitors performance of programs and provides updates to management, committees, and governance teams 7. Develops presentations and written summary reports to inform a wide array of stakeholders about the programs, including physicians, nursing staff, and administration 8. Assists in documenting and updating workflows of clinical and business processes that impact the programs 9. Researches program requirements and other programs in the market and prepares summaries of the requirements 10. Supports implementation of a strategic plan for the UAB eMedicine Program, which may include joint ventures and affiliations, growth at UAB-owned community sites, and activities through the eMedicine Network; work closely with the Physician Director of the eMedicine Network consults services along with other Health System leaders to align the eMedicine outreach strategy with the system strategy for network-related activities 11. Supports the daily operations of the eMedicine Network, including budget management and human resources activities of the program, as required 12. Serves as a primary point of contact for community physicians and community partners and affiliates; work closely with key stakeholders within the health system who are focused on community partnerships to implement strategies specific to the provision of cardiovascular services 13. Coordinates implementation of community eMedicine programs with Digital Health operational leadership 14. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related field and five (3) years related experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
