PROGRAM COORDINATOR II

University of Alabama, Birmingham Birmingham, AL 35205 Description The Program Coordinator II position reports directly to the Marketing Director and serves as face-paced, high functioning administrative support to the operations and organization of the Marketing Team, a central team to UAB Center for the Arts. The Marketing Team provides ambitious, exciting, and aggressive public relations, advertising, and marketing efforts for the that includes- the Alys Stephens Center, Abroms-Engel Institute of Visual Arts, ArtPlay, Arts in Medicine, as well as the Development team. The PC II will be overall responsible for managing the workflow and planning of the Marketing Team. Duties & Responsibilities Manage incoming ASANA jobs for Marketing Team as they are received by ensuring all details and information is provided at the time of submission, confirming deadlines, and assigning jobs to appropriate Marketing staff Follow the timeline of Marketing requests and jobs from beginning to end to ensure they reach status points and completion Maintains constant communication with UAB Central Marketing for the approval of proofs and swag items Submits marketing forms and follows processes for contracting freelancers Maintains and renews all vendor contracts for marketing Maintains supply inventory and other orders for the Marketing Team Act as liaison between departments/ central teams and Marketing team Responsible for marketing charges, tracking transactions, and interactions with the Finance team to submit backup for all submission requests as well as pcard transactions Attend marketing meetings with departments to take notes, record deadlines, and requests Update and manage digital signage for Center for the Arts and Alabama Symphony Orchestra Coordinate physical marketing mailings via UAB printing Maintains Box folders and organization Helps to maintain the working calendar for Marketing Perform other duties as assigned

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.35 – $27.50 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required.
