Job Summary:
The Business Development and Sales role for Küberit
USA, LLC
(“KUSA”), a TMT America, Inc. Company, is a dynamic and hands-on role focused on driving growth and establishing the Küberit brand within the U.S. market. Acting as a pioneer for the brand, this position will be integral in networking, building relationships, and creating awareness for Küberit’s unique product offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of product knowledge, sales strategies, and brand building to engage potential customers, educate the industry on Küberit’s value, and foster strong relationships. The Business Development and Sales function will work closely with internal teams to deliver a cohesive and strategic approach to expanding Küberit’s presence in the U.S. market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales Identify and engage new business opportunities, focusing on building a pipeline of potential clients and partners. Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Execute direct sales activities including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting presentations, and closing sales. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote Küberit products and build brand recognition. Relationship Building and Networking Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals, customers, and stakeholders to build trust and brand loyalty. Regularly meet with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Foster a proactive presence in the flooring and construction industry to represent Küberit as a trusted and knowledgeable partner. Customer Service and Support Exhibit strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills by professionally handling inquiries via phone and email. Foster existing customer relationships and key business accounts while identifying opportunities to promote sales and increase revenue. Contribute to the development and execution of growth strategies, leveraging market knowledge and customer insights. Address escalated customer service issues, resolve concerns, and implement solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Product Knowledge and Training Develop an in-depth understanding of Küberit’s product range, including features, applications, and competitive differentiators. Conduct product training sessions for clients, partners, and internal team members to enhance understanding and usage of Küberit products. Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on new product developments, and communicate these updates to customers effectively. Reporting and Analytics Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback within the CRM. Track and analyze performance metrics related to sales, customer engagement, and brand impact, providing insights to inform strategy. Prepare reports for leadership, highlighting business development progress, market trends, and areas for growth. Brand Building and Awareness Act as a brand ambassador, embodying Küberit’s values and positioning in all professional interactions. Partner with marketing to create and distribute relevant content, ensuring accurate and compelling product representation. Support strategic marketing initiatives to increase Küberit’s visibility and drive engagement with target audiences. Facilities and Warehouse Operations Enhance logistical capabilities to ensure that Küberit products are managed efficiently from our facilities to customers, and assist with day-to-day warehouse operations and needs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong knowledge of company products, competitive awareness, and a broad knowledge of the flooring and building materials industry. Commitment to business development and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing market with the skill to make sound business decisions in sales planning and managing processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to network and build relationships. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated with a tenacious approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
Education/Experience:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction, flooring, and/or building materials industry is highly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with QuickBooks, CRM systems, and analytic tools is a plus.
Physical Demands:
The physical requirements of this position involve light work where the worker sits most of the time. Physical demands include occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, and lifting; frequent reaching, walking, grasping, and repetitive motion; continuous talking, hearing, fingering/handling, and close visual acuity.
Work Location/Environmental Condition:
This position is based at the Florence Support Center in Florence, Alabama. The obligations of this position may extend well beyond a 40-hour workweek and will require overnight travel throughout the U.S. as required by Küberit USA, the market, and customer desires. The conditions are those of typical office work, and the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
