  • to help lead a large Department of Defense radar program delivering multiple radar systems to the
  • U.S. Air Force
  • , including full life-cycle support, logistics, and site activation activities.

As DPM, you will work closely with the Program Manager and integrated product teams to ensure successful execution across cost, schedule, and performance, while engaging directly with senior government stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.   • Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Manager in overall program leadership, including strategy, execution, and customer engagement.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across multiple functional teams delivering radar hardware, software, logistics, and site activation services.
  • Oversee development and execution of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and manage program performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Coordinate with USAF stakeholders to align deliveries, operational support, and activation milestones across multiple
CONUS/OCONUS

sites.

  • Lead risk management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives across all phases of the program.
  • Interface with government contracting officers, program leadership, and technical representatives to maintain program alignment and compliance.
  • Support subcontractor management, including oversight of major system and service providers.
  • Assist with program reviews, customer briefings, data calls, and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Contribute to staffing plans, team leadership development, and program culture.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business degree plus 12-15 years of relevant experience in defense program management.

or Master’s degree in engineering or business degree plus 12-15 years of relevant experience in defense program management. + Proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. + Demonstrated experience supporting or leading large-scale DoD acquisition programs. + Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and prioritize effectively. + Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. + Experience in risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project. + Must be an U.S. Citizenship, possess and

  • required + Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area

  • Pay Range:
  • Pay Range $112,450.

00 – $203,275.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
