Job Description

The Program Manager shall oversee the Task Order and have overall accountability of the program. To facilitate efficient operations under this contract, the Contractor PM shall: + Serve as the main POC for all Contractor personnel. + Have a technical background that facilitates understanding of USG technical requirements and communication with the PMO. + Have a management background that facilitates supervision of their personnel’s performance. + Be responsible for overall management and execution of the contract and each task. + Ensure that all work performed meets the requirements within schedule and staffing constraints of the contract. + Works closely with PMO/specified personnel to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of critical objectives in a timely manner. + Manage all subcontractor interface requirements. + Notify the PMO, within one business day of any problems or issues. + Notify the CS, within one business day of any problems or issues pertinent to the network.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Manages multiple and/or large programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.

+ Manages the work activities for multiple programs to ensure satisfying delivery. + Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. + Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. + Responsible for managing activities of external consultants and/or vendors. + In-depth understanding of the field’s concepts and principles. + Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. + Supervision may be provided through a team of subordinate supervisors and/or managers. + Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

  • + An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration + Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.

+ Ability and experience to understand complex network deployments across multiple bases operations and associated personnel qualifications and DAF Acquisition. + Experience to provide supervision, direction, and control of their personnel. + Experience to understand complex Network deployments across multiple bases operations and associated personnel qualifications and Air Force Acquisition. + An active Program Management Institute (PMI) – Project Management Professional (PMP) certification at time of award. + Sec+ or IAT Level II equivalent certification.
