JOB OVERVIEW
MartinFed has an opening for a Program Manager to join our team of talented and diverse individuals to lead a highly technical team of cybersecurity professionals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Lead multiple highly specialized teams spanning defensive cyber operations, software development, risk management, and IT operations + Serve as primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Government Leadership. + Manage performance and execution of a program in accordance with contract requirements and ensure superior technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. + Ensure contract and employees work in compliance with state and federal laws as well as federal regulations and directives. + Ensure contractor staff work in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. + Management of technical staff to include performance development, coaching, mentoring and problem/conflict resolution. + Provide oversight to ensure adherence to program schedules, milestones and technical performance. + Establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including Government customer, technical leadership, and support organizations. + Ensures seamless integration and cooperation of the contract team, including subcontractors. + Plans, develops, schedules both customer and corporate program management reviews. + Support business development and program staff management. + Manage resources and staffing, ensuring high retention/low turnover rates, morale improvement initiatives and team building activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ U.S. Citizen with a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. + Bachelor’s degree in business management or computer-related field, or technically equivalent area and seven (7) years of Program Management experience. + Demonstrated experience managing a technical staff to include performance development, coaching, and problem resolution. + Strong leadership capability, to include sound reasoning and decision-making ability a must. + Good understanding of cyber security processes and best practices. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Desired candidate possesses active Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
+ Inside office environment. + Working on a computer for long periods of time. + May involve long period of sitting at a desk. + The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
