Responsibilities:

Manages internal Solid Rocket Motor program execution, from initial program plan definition through ultimate mission success. Manage the full lifecycle from proposal development, including strategy, planning, writing, and submission, through successful program execution. Brief executive team on program execution, risks, and key performance metrics (KPIs). Leads internal status updates and milestone reviews. Responsible for presenting both programmatic and technical material. Collaborates with team members to write, review, and deliver technical deliverables. Includes systems engineering requirements, change requests, risk definitions and mitigation plans, nonconformance reports, and data reviews. Participates in business strategy discussions. Responsible for understanding and communicating impacts across programs during decision-making. Assess engineering issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Identifies, tracks, mitigates, manages, and dispositions program-level risks and opportunities. Work in a collaborative team environment on quick reaction projects and have regular contact with customers Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program. Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs. Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers. Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization. Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications. Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics. Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations. Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.

Associate’s Degree Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/ or Experience Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Discipline/Major:

Business degree preferred. Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years’ experience relevant to the positions functional area
