We are currently seeking a Part Time Supportive Services Coordinator to help with our Home Modification program. The home modification program provides accessibility, safety, and security. Many homes are not equipped to house individuals as they age. Bathroom modifications can include rubber suction shower mat, grab bars, toilet chair, shower chair, adjustable shower head. Other modifications can include wheelchair ramp, door widening, rubber door threshold, motion-sensor indoor nightlights, and safety flashlights. Duties Plan, organize and coordinate the Home Modification program Work directly with contractors to make sure modifications are done in timely manner within budget Maintain records and conduct data entry Complete home visits, verifying work is completed Handle billing with vendors Requirements High school diploma or GED required Knowledge of older adults preferred Previous experience with home repairs/ modification or working with contractors a plus Ability to travel locally approximately 50% (mileage will be reimbursed) Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to respect and maintain client confidentiality Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to advocating for the best interests of elderly clients within the community. This position is part-time, up to 20 hours weekly. Schedule is flexible, but candidate must be available within Agency hours of 8:00am through 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
