$65.1K – $83.1K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Nursing RN License Mid-level Bachelor’s degree Acute care Data collection Critical care experience Nursing Full Job Description The Quality of Excellence Coordinator ensures the requirements for the accreditation for Centers of Excellence are maintained and ensures completion of required actions. They provide leadership and consultative services for performance improvement activities for the Centers of Excellence programs, and assist with compliance activities for all regulatory agencies for these programs. They are responsible for medical record reviews and assure the integrity and maintenance of databases, coordinate data collection processes, and exhibit proficiency in data management. They coordinate referrals when physician or departmental review is indicated. The coordinator performs concurrent review and chart studies while maintaining databases, and participates in the quality improvement program to evaluate care for these patient populations. They assist in education of physicians, staff and the community regarding initiatives and care of the patients. The Coordinator works with the various physicians and committees to address identified Performance Improvement needs of the program. They support an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practice the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups. Requirements:
Education:
Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Alabama, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
3 years experience in Acute Care hospital nursing, Emergency or Critical Care preferred. Licenses, Certifications and/or
Registrations:
Current Alabama Nursing License.
