Program Director The Connection Inc – 2.7 New Haven, CT Job Details Full-time $85,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level 3 years Master’s degree Leadership Communication skills Full Job Description The Program Director is responsible for daily program operations, staffing, quality assurance, clinical supervision, and training; serves as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services for adult, justice-involved males with a primary mental health diagnosis in a community based, congregate living setting; works collaboratively with funders, referring agents, medical and clinical providers to establish wrap-around services and reduce recidivism. The following combinations of education and employment experience must be met in order to be considered for the position: Education And Experience Master’s Degree in related field; clinical license or license eligible 3 years of related leadership experience Preferred Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Physical Demands/Working Conditions Frequent sitting and ability to talk and hear. Frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch and kneel and operate machine and equipment. The member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The member will be required to travel by vehicle. Work in an office setting sitting behind a computer as well as interaction with clients. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Required to be free from communicable diseases and work closely with clients.
