FACCM’s early learning center members meet the needs of working parents, while supporting a child’s developmental needs with the end goal of preparing children for lifelong success.
FUNCTION
The APPLE Program Manager will manage FACCM and APPLE program functions to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. The APPLE Program Manager will champion the objectives through effective prioritization of organization procedures and will communicate and collaborate to support the mission through alliances with supervisor, co-workers, members, and partners. This position works in-person at the association office located in Melbourne, Florida – Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm and is not a virtual/hybrid position.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships to support the mission and goals.
- Friendly and enthusiastic approach to promote a positive organization image; treat others with courtesy and respect.
- Meet/exceed expectations by understanding and anticipating member needs. Exhibit proactive communication; act and think with members in mind.
- Partner with the work team to ensure branding and marketing of FACCM, APPLE, CORE, and SEEDS products and services. Develop growth and marketing strategies through service analysis, community out-reach and education, and streamlining business practices.
- Actively participate in work team collaboration to build an environment of collective accountability.
- Ensure integrity in workflow, responsibilities, and processes. Observe, evaluate, and communicate changes over time for optimal team performance. Identify, implement, and make recommendations for process upgrades and member service and experience enhancements.
- Maintain organization records, correspondences, contact information to distribute to members, share on website, and social media. Regularly update member information in database.
- Submit membership, accreditation, and status reports to Executive Director as needed.
- Deliver timely and exemplary technical assistance to members. Provide appropriate feedback and targeted support to members addressing membership and/or accreditation processes.
- Maintain current knowledge of APPLE Accreditation Standards, National Accreditation Standards, and research-based early childhood education practices.
- Review, monitor, and facilitate accreditation and annual report processes. Deliver timely reminders and assistance to members in the accreditation process.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing organizational events, campaigns, initiatives, and projects; partner with supervisors, co-workers, and vendors to facilitate successful outcomes.
- Attend approved job-related staff meeting and training programs and stay current on topics related to Childcare accreditation and early childhood education.
- Perform other related work required by the Director of Operations and/or Executive Director
- Facilitates the school’s attendance at workshops
- Responds to questions and provides technical assistance
- Arranges for any requested on-site training/services or presentations and meetings

staff and monitors submission of any requests for information or supplementary reports
- Maintains phone or email contact with school on activities due Ongoing Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a system to regularly contact potential/current member institutions
- Maintains up to date notes on the member institution using the online school files and journal section
- Assists staff in the preparation of materials for the quarterly Board of Directors meetings Other Responsibilities
- Participates in the planning and presentation of workshops
- Serves as additional liaison/resource to cooperative partners, governmental agencies and professional associations in collaboration with the staff
- Works with special projects and new constituent groups
- Collaborates with the support staff and evaluation team as it relates to member institutions
- Participate in seminars and professional meetings to represent the association
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Some professional level work experience in an early childhood organization, business operations, or a similar field. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the required education
- Possess a valid and current Florida Driver’s License, good driving record, reliable transportation, and current automobile liability insurance policy
- Pass a level 2 background screening and drug screening prior to the date of hire
- Ability to cooperate successfully as a member of the work team. Exhibits objectivity and openness to others’ point of view

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Must be in good health with energy and enthusiasm to meet the physical and mental challenges of the position
- Frequently required to walk, sit, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally required to stand, reach, stoop and handle or lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be physically able to drive a car, ride a train, or airplane
