This role is responsible for overseeing compliance in kinship and case management related tasks and procedures. The Program Support Coordinator is primarily responsible for completing Family Finding efforts, acting as the Educational Liaison for Kids First of Florida and facilitating Case Transfer Staffings. R esponsibilities Searching for and locating adult relatives and fictive kin for children in foster care. Schedule and facilitate ESSA meetings in a timely manner to ensure compliance with state guidelines, as well as completing the necessary documentation to demonstrate compliance. Support efficient communication between the school district and parties related to children in care. Monitor cases as they are submitted for case transfer, ensuring that CTS meetings are taking place within a timeline that meets compliance with state guidelines and agency policy. Complete case reviews prior to case transfer, attempting to ensure the completion of any outstanding items or tasks. Review and update caregiver contact information for all CTS cases. Ongoing and accurate data organization and tracking. Offer support to co-workers. Q ualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Knowledge of theories and practice of child protection, counseling, social work, investigations or family assessments Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to utilize customized software Strong customer service, effective communication and organizational skills needed Requires ability to use independent judgment, problem solve and have a dedicated attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive date Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Ability to develop methods for monitoring and to evaluating the quality and effectiveness of service and compliance with rules, policies, and statutes. Team facilitation and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to partner with collaterals and service providers Successful completion of Level 2 background screening Active Florida Driver’s License, responsible driving record; proof of insurance.
