Teaching Full Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Fatherhood PRIDE workshop facilitator is responsible for the implementation of required programmatic parenting workshops. This position requires a non- traditional, flexible schedule to accommodate the workshop series schedule.
Specific Activities:
Workshop Facilitation Facilitate the entire evidence-based 24:7 Dad workshop series and Inside Out Dad series to community and incarcerated fathers Coordinated workshop schedule, locations, guest presenters, instructional materials and supplies each month. Supplemental Curricula Community Workshop Facilitation Facilitate evidence-based supplemental curricula, such as Boot Camp for New Dads, Mom as Gateway, etc. in accelerated and normal tracks, as well as other community settings outside of the accelerated and normal workshop track schedules. Promote the availability of the supplemental workshop curricula through outreach to internal Coalition programs and community partners. Coordinate workshop schedule, locations, guest presenters, instructional materials and supplies. Evaluation/Data Entry Must log attendance at all parenting workshops on paper and in data system. Follow data collection protocols for reporting data into the nForm and local evaluation systems; input accurate data within prescribed timelines. Program Special Events Plan, coordinate and implement quarterly gatherings for members in the program. Plan, coordinate, implement and attend special events like the Father’s Day barbecue competition, Barbers for Babies, infant mortality awareness events, etc. Administrative • Attend all staff and team in-services, conferences, workshops and community meetings. • Participate in grantee initiatives.

• All other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor or Program Director. Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in education, social services or related field or equivalent work experience in the field. May substitute four or more years of professional experience in community services and/or counseling with high-risk populations in non-profit sector.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must have prior facilitation or teaching experience. Must have experience with evidence-based curricula. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with individuals for a wide variety of socio- economic backgrounds, including professionals, non-professionals and the general public, concerning a wide range of subjects and/or situations. Display empathy and good listening skills in a community classroom setting. Demonstrate classroom management skills. Be able to engage classroom or workshop participants in materials effectively. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook). Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work flexible traditional and non-traditional hours. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Coalition partner agency staff and the general public. Maintain professional boundaries. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of the criminal justice system and child support systems. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player at the Coalition. Must be able to commit to the Coalition vision and be passionate about its mission. Requires reliable transportation as travel is required, valid driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to travel to alternate locations. Required to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear while performing the duties of this job, regularly. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen Lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds.
