Title of Position:
Program Coordinator- Trauma Therapy, Sexual Assault Program Qualifications:
This position requires a Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other behavioral science (licensure required). Licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW) or a mental health counselor (LMHC), the Program Coordinator should have the ability to work independently as well as possess strong writing, communication, organization, time management, and computer skills. This position requires a minimum of seven years’ experience working with child abuse and/or sexual violence victims as an advocate or in a comparable position, or working with victims of crime, as well as some supervisory experience. Experience working in the community is necessary, preferably in a community organization or similar role. Coordinator must be flexible, as some work on weekends and evenings may be necessary. A current, valid Driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a reliable car are essential for this position as some travel may be required.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Ensures the clinical operation of the clinical services program wide in accordance with standard clinical procedures, Florida Statutes and Administrative Rules, and including the requirements outlined in the Employee Handbook and all applicable Operation Protocols related to clinical services. Provide on-site clinical monitoring to ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures and promote empirically supported treatments for survivors of sexual violence to enhance quality of services. Includes creation of statistical reports on monitoring results and service delivery/demographics.
Primary Functions/Job Duties:
Supervision of direct service providers, to include: Therapists, Case Manager, Client Care Specialist, etc.
Supervision includes:
case consultation, observation and coaching, assisting in provision of services to victims of crime, case review, assistance in identification of service providers for victims, system coordination, intervention with education, law enforcement or prosecutorial entity. Provide consultations and evaluations of victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other identified traumas, their non-offending siblings and non-offending caregiver, and adult survivors of child sexual abuse and sexual assault. Provide individual and group therapeutic services for victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other identified traumas, and their non-offending family members. Interview adults, their family members and significant others as needed to obtain psychosocial information for clinical evaluations. Develop behaviorally specific treatment plans for all family members involved in the program. Attend training sessions to maintain the knowledge and skills required for the position. Provide crisis intervention services when necessary. Maintain compliance with all documentation and requirements of funding sources. Completion of Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) required time and attendance sheets and programmatic documentation, reports, and statistics. Conducting victim satisfaction surveys and needs assessments to improve victim services delivery in the project.
