Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Staff Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload while managing competing deadlines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Overseeing the
NGA USCENTCOM
records management program. Overseeing the
NGA USCENTCOM
business continuity plan. Managing
NGA USCENTCOM
internal and external suspense/deadlines (Taskers). Updating and maintaining all documents related to NGA USCENTCOM organization (organization charts, briefing slides and placemats, recall rosters and agendas). Managing
NGA USCENTCOM
shared folder permission and distribution lists. Coordination and de-confliction of NGA and
USCENTCOM
business rhythm events. Responsible to collate weekly information for
NGA USCENTCOM
staff meeting.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Business or other related field and 1+ year of experience supporting general officer-level commands, senior DoD officials, or as an Executive Officer/staff support in a joint or major command. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationship and networks with senior leaders, managers, and military personnel. Demonstrated a high level of attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload while managing competing deadlines. Demonstrated extensive knowledge and skill in the application of office support computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, administrative applications email, calendars, and database storage/retrieval.
Required Clearance:
Candidate must have an active TS/SCI Clearance.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Experience at a Combatant Command (COCOM) or in a Joint Staff environment. Familiarity with JSAP, CATMS, or other military task tracking systems. Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and in ambiguous situations. Previous military service or experience supporting the Department of Defense.

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
