SUMMARY :
Working in tandem with the program co-director, confidently lead our team of instructors to build a safe, happy, and stimulating learning environment for students ages 5-14. Duties include overseeing the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations; ensuring that facilities are maintained; managing and supporting all staff; communicating proactively with parents; assisting with possible incidents; and managing the online registration system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating an activity schedule for each day of the week Informing Abi of what materials are needed, if they are not on campus (this should be done for the entirety of an activity calendar to limit the amount of time materials need to be ordered) Ensuring a smooth check-in process Maintaining order while ensuring the students are engaged in activities Ensuring all students are being properly supervised during the program Informing parents of any issues with their students Follow up with parents in regards to payment Attending to school concerns
EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress. Experience working with children required Experience working in a leadership position required LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, or
CERTIFICATIONS
Possesses current CPR/First-Aid/AED Adult/Pediatric certification OR willing to acquire certification within 14 days of hire (in-person CPR component required) Must complete all state-required training before starting position, a manager will support you in determining the completion date for each training in accordance with guidelines Background check required for hire

EXPECTATIONS
Monthly (tasks that can be completed once a month): create a staffing schedule based on availabilities and communicate with staff members; create an after school activity plan using provided resources that upholds expectations; create a list of needed materials for activities that fits within the approved budget and communicate to the appropriate persons for ordering; confirm staff hours and report to HR to run payroll; gather required items for any reimbursements and submit them to the appropriate parties; run safety drills and maintain a log of these for licensing; meet with nurse to review safety/health items; confirm monthly billings are correct; conduct surveys of students, parents, and staff members; attend monthly meeting with supervisor and school to discuss the program Weekly (tasks that can be completed once a week): attend weekly meeting with supervisor and other directors; sanitize toys and materials; maintain inventory of materials and snacks; confirm weekly billings are correct; confirm staffing attendance; create weekly activity summary that explains activities and needed supplies (can be done monthly); Daily (tasks that can be completed once a day): respond to emails/Procare messages from parents; monitor sign-in/sign-out of students on Procare; ensure staff are appropriately clocking-in and out; engage with students and parents; enforce staff expectations; assist staff with activities as needed; instruct activities as needed; handle student behavior concerns; arrive 30 minutes before the start time to assign roles and set up activities; Ivy Camps USA is an equal-opportunity employer.
