- The HEDIS manager is accountable for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) health care quality projects and initiatives through direction setting and leadership.
Responsibilities include assimilating information to proactively develop quality activities aligned with program goals and objectives; linking the quality management activities to business goals; proactively building strong teams and business relationships, both internally and externally; and serving as a resource and subject matter expert on aspects of the quality program to develop and influence business strategies. Position Summary
- Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and executing HEDIS Quality Department specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals
- Leads and manages annual HEDIS process within plan
- Serves as subject matter expert to enterprise team
- Identifies, develops, and improves processes, procedures, and operations, conducts analysis, leads cross functional teams, and schedules, develops, and implements initiatives to strategically improve project processes
- Secures and coordinates resources, temporary staff, space and equipment, and system requirements
- Evaluates and monitors performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that implementation meets targeted timelines
- Support creation of improvement activities based on HEDIS results and analysis
- Indirectly helps to lead the HEDIS outreach team to operationalize all HEDIS outreach activities
- Synthesizes performance data, prepares presentation materials, and presents comparative complex reports to local and enterprise quality committees
- Builds relationships with internal and external customers Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of direct HEDIS experience
- 5 years experience involving use and analyses of health care data
- Minimum of 3 years provider, managed care, or medical facility experience Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years managed care experience
- 3 years HEDIS supervision & management of HEDIS project Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s Degree preferred

- 40 •Time Type•Full time •Pay Range•The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.

00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
