The position will provide support and follow through the licensing process of prospective foster families.
Job Specifications:
Assist, support and communicate with foster families throughout the foster parent training and licensing process Assist and train foster parents in appropriate documentation according to Florida Statutes Maintain constant and consistent contact with prospective foster families Compile and follow through the completion of the licensing documentation packages required by law and submit packages to the Licensing Supervisor and then to the DCF/Community Based Care Agency’s Licensing Unit Schedule and conduct health inspections for prospective foster families Complete home studies and submit appropriate documentation
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study Must have Child Welfare Certification Knowledge of child welfare system and applicable regulations Must demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Problem Solving Skills Interpersonal Skills Customer service skills Must have reliable transportation that can be used for work purposes Must have and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license Why work at 4KIDS?
