The VISTA will play a pivotal role in growing the Academy by increasing youth participation, expanding volunteer coaching, and enhancing community league play. The role will focus on enhancing operational effectiveness in youth sports programming, event coordination, and community engagement, ensuring greater accessibility to baseball and softball in underserved communities. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate, a self-starter, enthusiastic about sports and giving back to the Miami community. Member Duties :
The VISTA at Miami Marlins Foundation will be part of the 2025-26 Coach Across America VISTA cohort of 53 members. The VISTA member will help grow the Marlins Youth Academy by spreading the word and creating exciting ways for more kids, especially from underserved communities, to get involved. They’ll build up a strong team of coaches and volunteers to keep the energy high and the support strong. By organizing events that bring together youth from different neighborhoods, the member will help spark new friendships, teamwork, and community pride. They’ll also boost the Academy’s visibility through creative content and outreach to attract more supporters and champions for the cause.
