Role:
The Delegation Oversight Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that health care services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards. ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. The Delegation Oversight Specialist position involves monitoring and evaluating the delegation of tasks and responsibilities within health care teams to optimize member care and operational effectiveness. The specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement best practices for delegation, ensuring that all team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively. By analyzing performance metrics and feedback, the specialist will identify areas for improvement and facilitate training and support as needed. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance the quality of care provided to members while maintaining a high standard of operational integrity within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a health care setting, working with contract management / project management. Knowledge of the hospital and provider networks, Florida Medicaid and HMOs Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Health Care Administration or a related field. Certification in health care quality or management.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the delegation of tasks within health care teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement best practices for delegation, providing guidance and support to team members. Analyze performance metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement in delegation processes. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team members’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of delegation practices with organizational goals.
