Description:
The Grateful Patient Program Manager supports development efforts and provides strategic guidance in partnership with prospect research, gift officers and development coordinators. Develops and sustains a robust and engaged group of philanthropically minded clinicians and employees. Facilitates prospect management and lead generation for Grateful Patient pipeline and effective process of physician engagement and clinical prospect identification. Conduct initial discovery calls for grateful patient referrals and implement a system to pass on warm leads to relevant Development team staff. Direct the implementation of the system-wide program & ensure continuity throughout. Responsible for accurate reporting & key performance Indicators. Recommends & drives strategies/best practices/resources/timing program growth. Establish Physician Grateful Patient Advisory Councils & grateful patient referral protocols. Support & guide Foundation Strategy, driving revenue growth through physician engagement & grateful patient prospect identification. Drives culture of gratitude & ensure coordination of grateful patient referrals. Directs campaigns and activations for Foundation’s National Grateful Patient. Reports to the Senior Director, Donor Initiatives and Physician Engagement. Estimated salary range for this position is $75194.30 – $97,752.59 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with ideally a Healthcare Administration, Business, Communication, or Public Relations focus. Masters degree preferred. 7 years experience working in healthcare environment with 3 years experience working in a philanthropy program, fundraising, marketing, sales leadership, organizational management, or project management. A strong hospital-based background with an excellent understanding of BHSF organizational culture. Must possess strong leadership and management skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to work with a wide range of individuals, including C-suite executives, physicians, and clinical staff, while meeting strategic objectives. Detailed-oriented, well-organized, focused, and goal-oriented, with a high level of initiative, innovative thinking, and presentation skills. Adept at problem-solving and using judgment in situations requiring independent thinking and tact. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project Management, Access, and Teams. Proficiency with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau and Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge preferred. This individual will support key organizational strategies and must be comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization. Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish).
