Job Description
Mosaic Miami VISTA Project 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 150 SE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33131 Mosaic Miami aims to strengthen community engagement, ensure robust non-electoral civic engagement, enhance educational opportunities, and promote mutual understanding throughout Miami-Dade County. The VISTA project will aim to increase Mosaic Miami’s impact by evaluating and expanding its services’ scale, reach, efficiency, and effectiveness while creating systems that enhance the organization’s overall capacity. The project will benefit 1,250 individuals (250 directly and over 1,000 indirectly). The project will run from the summer of 2025 through June 2026. Its goal is to fortify Mosaic’s ability to effectively serve youth, families, and community partners by collaboratively developing and implementing programs, processes, and strategic partnerships alongside Mosaic Miami’s Senior Adviser.
Member Duties :
VISTA members will strengthen the organization’s capacity to foster a community where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and where efforts are focused on strengthening community engagement, ensuring robust non-electoral civic engagement, enhancing educational opportunities, and promoting mutual understanding. Develop and facilitate Mosaic’s community and youth programs from Summer 2025 through the 2025-2026 school year. The VISTA member will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as community assessments, outreach efforts, partnerships, program development, youth development, technology integration, participant recruitment, performance measurement, and developing systems for organizational effectiveness over 12 months. Responsibilities include involvement in curriculum development, program development, implementation, and evaluation. The VISTA member will enhance Mosaic’s capacity to develop participants’ leadership and soft skills.
