Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced individuals to serve as Senior Program Coordinator in our group homes. This critical role will oversee the coordination of services and ensure the highest standards of care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in team leadership.
Key Responsibilities Program Oversight:
Ensure adherence to APD program standards by conducting quarterly audits with the QA team and preparing for annual APD licensing reviews.
Team Leadership:
Supervise Home Managers, Shift Leads, and Direct Care staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure daily walkthroughs of homes.
Resident Engagement:
Facilitate monthly resident meetings and provide ongoing support to ensure each resident’s needs are met.
Operational Efficiency:
Maintain performance logs, review Kronos for payroll accuracy, and manage personnel and operating budgets.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all staff follow Universal Precautions and conduct monthly fire drills. Coordinate emergency preparedness plans (e.g., hurricane preparations).
Medical and Dietary Coordination:
Ensure residents’ medical appointments are coordinated, and dietary needs are met.
Behavioral Support:
Implement and support behavioral interventions as recommended in individual support plans.
Staff Development:
Coordinate orientation for new employees, monitor ongoing staff training, and ensure timely documentation submission.
Qualifications Education:
A.A. or B.A. in Education or a related field strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with developmentally disabled or residential setting preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and experience in managing operational processes.
Additional Requirements:
Valid Florida driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience Must meet APD/DCF Level II background clearance criteria Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on-call support as needed Why Join Us?
