The selected candidate will work as an Acquisition Subject Matter Expert supporting the

PEO STRI APEO

Acquisition Directorate. Responsibilities include ensuring programs adhere to established guidelines, mitigating risk and enabling successful execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle .

Position Requirements:

Provide expert guidance and support to the Acquisition Directorate, specifically focusing on program life cycle compliance with Army Regulations, Army Directives, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Department of Defense (DoD) Directives, Instructions and Publications and other relevant policies. Serve as a primary point of contact for interpreting and applying DoD and Army acquisition regulations, directives related guidance within the context of program execution. Review and analyze program documentation (e.g., Acquisition Plans, Program Protection Plans, Test & Evaluation Master Plans, Life Cycle Cost Estimates) for compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Develop and deliver training to acquisition personnel on acquisition policies, procedures, and best practices. Assist in the development and maintenance of acquisition policies, procedures, and templates. Conduct internal assessments and audits of program compliance, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions. Research and analyze complex acquisition issues impacting program execution and provide recommendations to the Acquisition Directorate. Monitor changes to regulations and policies and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, emphasizing impacts to program plans. Support the development of waivers and deviations from policy, as needed Participate in program reviews and provide compliance oversight Assist in the preparation of acquisition reporting documentation Why join Thompson Gray?
