Part-time Aftercare Staff – Aftercare & Enrichment Program 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 11000 Ellison Wilson Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 Part-time Aftercare & Enrichment Program August 1, 2025 Position Overview The Benjamin School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-time Aftercare Staff for their Aftercare & Enrichment(ACE) Program for grades
PK3, PK4 & K
students (ages 3-6), and grades 1-5 (ages 7-11). . This role is essential in supporting various programs aimed at fostering childhood development, enhancing learning, and promoting positive behavior management. Ideal candidates will have a passion for education and experience working with children in diverse settings. The hours are 1:45 p.m – 5:30 p.m. (with the exception of when responsible for closing, which the hours are 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) Key Expectations of all TBS employees Demonstrates support of the school’s mission and policies Consistently models The Benjamin School values Builds positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues by establishing effective communication through listening, responsiveness, openness, availability, and approachability Takes initiative and ownership in displaying positive work ethic and behaviors and encourages this attitude in others Maintains proficiency in the field through personal and professional development that strengthens the role and the school Essential Functions Create and supervise children’s activities, games, and crafts in the classroom and during playground time Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience working with children 40 Hour Early Childhood Certification is preferred (can obtain on the job within 90 days of employment) Experience with young children (grades PK – 5) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
Physical and Work Requirements:
The position involves supervising students in the classroom and outside on the playground. May involve assisting a student in case of a fall. Prolonged periods of standing or bending.
