Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator Full Time Days 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 5352 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL 33484 Position Summary The Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator is responsible and accountable for promoting, monitoring and evaluating high quality, safe, cost-effective health care by all members of the trauma team. The Trauma Program & Injury Prevention Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and integration of trauma service improvement programs, supporting both trauma centers in Palm Beach County , Delray Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center. Works with the trauma teams at both facilities to coordinate and plan injury prevention activities that meet the needs of each community and their unique populations. Also responsible and accountable for development, promoting and implementation of injury prevention programs related to trauma center designation requirements. The Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator position is based on County, State and regulatory standards.

EDUCATION
Minimum:

Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Social Worker or

EMT. EXPERIENCE
Minimum:

Four (4) years of clinical experience in chosen field and/or experience in community health organization or other health and human services relatable field.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

Florida license as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Social Worker, or EMT American Heart Association BLS required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, Quality Improvement Process, and Risk Management Knowledge of Infection Control Surveillance and Universal Precautions Knowledge of Florida State Department of Health
