Position Summary Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County is seeking a community-minded and organized Development Program Coordinator to support our ReBuild Home Repair Program. This vital role supports the delivery of critical home repair and rehabilitation services to qualified low-income homeowners, ensuring that families can live in safe, decent homes. The Development Program Coordinator will oversee project intake, coordination, grant compliance, and communication while working collaboratively with volunteers, subcontractors, and homeowners. They will also assist with related administrative and development tasks. This role supports both the delivery of home repair services and the operational needs of the program and development team, including data management, donor communications, and reporting. This position is ideal for an individual with strong organizational and communication skills, an interest in housing and community development, and the ability to manage both field-based and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Program Oversight & Project Management. Manage the day-to-day operations of the ReBuild Home Repair Program. Coordinate home repair projects from intake through completion. Conduct initial home assessments in coordination with construction staff. Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion. Coordinate local contractors and vendors for bids and services as needed. Assist with drafting program-related content for newsletters, donor communications, and updates. Support donor acknowledgment efforts in coordination with the development team. Help prepare fundraising materials, reports, and impact summaries. Maintain a donor engagement calendar, including planning and tracking of key outreach, follow-ups, and recognition efforts. Homeowner Engagement & Eligibility Respond to inquiries about the ReBuild Program. Guide homeowners through the application, approval, and repair process. Ensure applicant eligibility in alignment with program guidelines. Conduct pre-screening interviews and home visits as necessary. Compliance & Reporting Maintain accurate documentation for each project, including homeowner files, permits, contracts, and receipts. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing assistance programs. Track program metrics and prepare monthly reports for grants, funders, and board updates. Qualifications Experience in program coordination or nonprofit project management. Strong organizational and communication skills. Passion for affordable housing and Habitat’s mission. Comfortable working with diverse populations and economically vulnerable individuals. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools. Physical Requirements Ability to conduct site visits in varying weather conditions. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
