- 12 Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the K
- 12th grade Center-based programs through developing and coordinating activities that promote healthy development of the whole girl.
This position helps to support the day-to-day management of the K-8th and High School Center-based programs. Work shift is Monday-Friday 10:30am-6:30pm. (until the last girl is picked up) Principal Responsibilities Using a combination of resources from the National Girls Inc. organization, Girls Inc. affiliates, and local community organizations, the K
- 12 Program Coordinator will arrange Girls Inc. activities, guest speakers, and partnerships for both the K
- 8th grade and High School programs.
Responsibilities include:

- 8th Grade Programming
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing weekly schedule in a timely manner
- Collaborates with Director of K
- 8 Program and Facilitators to design and enhance activities using Girls Inc. curriculum
- Creates supplemental activities to address civic, cultural, and social issues
- Communicates with community partners to schedule supplemental programming for K
- 8 after school and summer program High School Programming
- Coordinates High School volunteers by providing monthly orientations and managing placement in the K
- 8th grade program
- Supports High School Program Manager in Center-based activities with community partners Skills and Qualifications Required Two or more years of group facilitation and/or instruction experience with youth Appreciation for working with diverse populations Commitment to strength-based programming Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Must be adaptable, independent, and flexible Strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation (Driving is required for this position) Preferred Post-secondary degree, or intentions to obtain a degree, in education or human services field Experience with lesson planning and implementation Familiarity with girls’ developmental needs and experience
