JOB SUMMARY

:

Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of every facet of Children and Adolescent Services for the designated region supported by Highland Rivers Behavioral Health (HRBH). Develop, enhance and organize a system of care that expands the agency’s ability to meet the needs of diverse communities served by HRBH. Provide guidance and direction to existing children and adolescent programs to ensure access and smooth operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

  • Oversee the continuum of care for Children and Adolescent services offered in the designated region of counties supported by HRBH, including outpatient services, residential services and APEX school-based services.
  • Ensures all records are maintained and all reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Supervise administratively and clinically the program directors for each child and adolescent program within the HRBH system.
  • Develop and enhance the provision of Children and Adolescent services by fostering relationships with the community partners including school systems, DFCS, DJJ, etc. Attends LIPT meetings, Family Connections meetings, etc.
  • Ensure access to services and eliminate barriers to service delivery
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative and cooperative service environment in the community at large.
  • Provide outreach and education to community stakeholders re: our services, Children and Adolescents behavioral health in general, Youth MH First Aid, etc.
  • Monitors, assesses and evaluates program to determine compliance and progress in meeting the clinical needs of individuals and families.
  • Develop needs assessments based on accurate analysis of each community and services.
  • Research and develop new avenues of revenue for Children and Adolescent services.
  • Assist the SOC Coordinator to monitor, track and report all Children and Adolescent System of Care Activities within the region.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with payer sources such as Care Management Organizations to facilitate contracts.
  • Participate with other managers on the Management Team to assess the needs of the team, implement any changes or new initiatives and work together to bridge any gaps between departments.
