POSITION SUMMARY

The Employment Services Manager is expected to know and adhere tothe Group Effort policies and procedures. The Employment ServicesManager will be responsible for assisting with the operations ofthe psychosocial rehabilitation center, transportation, andemployment programs. The Employment Services Manager will bedirectly responsible for the Delivery of Employment education,services, and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Peer Recovery Specialists will meet with members on a regular basisand duties may include, but are not limited to thefollowing: Establish and maintain a peer relationship rather than ahierarchical relationship with members. Conduct intakes and new member orientations as it pertains torecovery. Meet with members on a regular basis and documentencounters. Monitor member progress in the recovery program and share noteswith team members. Schedule and conduct random drug/alcohol screenings. Assist in providing education and motivation for memberssuccessful step-work/recovery work through recovery led groupsand/or individual encounters. Teach, model, and coach members in recovery skills needed tomaintain a healthy life in recovery (WRAP, employment, housing,self-care) Teach, model, and coach members in skills needed forself-management of SUD/mental health symptoms and prevention ofrelapse. Teach recovery courses in jail. Share unique perspective on recovery from mental illness or SUDby sharing from personal experience, strength and hope, whenappropriate Assist in identifying triggers and ways to cope withtriggers/urges. Assist in setting goals and developing a personal relapseprevention/recovery plan. Provide accountability/coaching for members, relating tostep-work, obtaining a sponsor, attending meetings, assignments,service work, etc. Meet with the program director and Recovery Team weekly. Assist with member corrective action plan, as needed. Provide recovery-related programming/classes to members. Assist Members in completing a Crisis Plan/Post Crisis Plan, asneeded. Perform other tasks relating to members recovery program, asneeded. Participate in continued education classes in order to maintaincertification.
