Full-Time We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead and manage programmatic efforts within a dynamic Department of Defense (DoD) environment, specifically in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) . This individual will oversee the planning, execution, and performance of a complex Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep knowledge of USSOCOM missions and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall program leadership, vision, and direction. Manage all aspects of the IDIQ contract, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and performance objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for Government representatives and stakeholders. Ensure the successful execution of multiple concurrent task orders across various geographical locations. Develop and maintain program documentation, risk mitigation plans, and performance metrics. Coordinate with subcontractors, technical teams, and senior leadership to deliver quality solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance:
Active Top-Secret w/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience within USSOCOM assigned organizations , either as military, Government civilian, or contractor. Minimum 5 years’ Program Management experience on a DoD contract, with the most recent ending within the last 12 months . Education (One of the following is required): Master’s degree in Program Management or a related Business field, OR Graduate of a US Military War College that confers a Master’s Certificate plus an additional 5 years (10 years total) Program Management experience, OR Any Bachelor’s degree plus an additional 5 years (15 years total) of experience in USSOCOM assigned organizations. Certifications (One of the following is required): Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management, OR An additional 5 years’ (10 years total) Program Management experience on a DoD contract.
Preferred Attributes:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-functional defense contracts. Strong understanding of USSOCOM’s operational tempo and mission sets.
Work Environment & Travel:
This position may require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of program objectives.
