Description:

The Program Manager will support the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. This role involves building and managing a team of supply chain experts located at 6 locations (CONUS and OCONUS), coordinating between various organizations, and developing solutions to parts availability issues. The Program Manager will have overall responsibility of the program and will collaborate with the Government on Strategic and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts aimed at improving the program and support of the Government customer. The Program Manager will also be responsible for delivering analyses, reports, and briefings to leadership, while ensuring effective cooperation and communication among stakeholders.
What you will be responsible for: Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts
Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues
Serve as the key liaison with the customer
Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues
Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics
Monitor MCLC impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 years+ of professional experience in supply chain/distribution required 7+ years of experience in a supervisor role required
5+ years of experience working for DLA and/or working directly supporting a USG Repair Depot preferred
Excellent relationship/interpersonal skills
Ability to work with incomplete information and ambiguity
Industry knowledge of Aerospace & Defense supply chains
Experience building, training, and managing a team Previous experience leading in a cross-functional team environment
Previous experience implementing lean and supply chain initiatives
Experience in supply management and logistical support functions
Broad understanding of the levels of repair philosophies for military services
Must understand Military Supply Chain processes and inventory practices
Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required)
Administrative and management experience
Experience applying quality control
Proficiency with Microsoft Suites
Experience and knowledge of military ground equipment
Knowledge and understanding of military maintenance programs and supply chain management
Critical and strategic thinking capabilities
Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
