The Chief Program Officer (CPO) at Alma Domestic ViolenceFoundation plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing theorganization’s mission. This position is responsible for overseeingthe strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluationof all programs, ensuring they align with our core values andcommitment to serving domestic violence survivors. The CPO willutilize a deep knowledge of program management principles andstakeholder management to foster innovation and growth. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, establish keyperformance indicators (KPIs), and build strong relationships withpartners and funders. Additionally, you will manage the programoperations budget and collaborate with the CEO and Board ofDirectors to identify funding sources. Your expertise will helpensure all programs are scalable, sustainable, and impactful, whilealso representing the foundation at community events and outreachactivities. ARE YOU THE CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
To succeed as the Chief Program Officer at Alma Domestic ViolenceFoundation, candidates must possess a robust skill set and relevantexperience. A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, BusinessAdministration, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field isrequired, with a Master’s degree preferred. The ideal candidatewill have a minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experiencein program management, including at least 3 years in a seniormanagement role. Proven experience in supervising and overseeing staff is essential.
Strong capabilities in budgeting and financial management within anonprofit setting are critical for effective resource allocation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessaryfor articulating the organization’s mission and engagingstakeholders. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a high degree oforganizational and planning skills, the ability to prioritizemultiple projects, and strong leadership and team-buildingabilities to cultivate a collaborative work environment.
