Full Job Description Position Summary:
  • Organize CPACS’ health department projects to promote community health, prevention, and awareness.
  • Plans, coordinates, and administers programmatic activities and events of CPACS’ health department.
  • Carrying out systems-level planning in support of CPACS’ health department projects and programs.
  • Performs activities necessary to effectively facilitate programs under the health department.
  • Develops and coordinates new ideas and concepts health department program themes, materials, and resources to supplement, expand, or replace existing program components.
  • Liaise with other programs to coordinate program activities and to accomplish program objectives.
  • Track and analyze program’s goals, deliverables, and effectiveness and deadlines are met within timeframe.
  • Work on any other projects deemed necessary by theDirector of Health or Program Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Public Health OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, social work, public health, community health, or closely related field) with direct job experience OR five years of experience performing prevention work related to area of assignment.
  • Experience or interest in public health work.
  • Possess working knowledge of public health principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and facilitating community forums and health projects.
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience interacting professionally with diverse individuals and organizations.
  • Strong motivation and adaptability, including the ability to work under pressure and with independence.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience working with AAPI and immigrant/refugee communities and related health issues.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work.
