Full Job Description Position Summary:
- Organize CPACS’ health department projects to promote community health, prevention, and awareness.
- Plans, coordinates, and administers programmatic activities and events of CPACS’ health department.
- Carrying out systems-level planning in support of CPACS’ health department projects and programs.
- Performs activities necessary to effectively facilitate programs under the health department.
- Develops and coordinates new ideas and concepts health department program themes, materials, and resources to supplement, expand, or replace existing program components.
- Liaise with other programs to coordinate program activities and to accomplish program objectives.
- Track and analyze program’s goals, deliverables, and effectiveness and deadlines are met within timeframe.
- Work on any other projects deemed necessary by theDirector of Health or Program Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, social work, public health, community health, or closely related field) with direct job experience OR five years of experience performing prevention work related to area of assignment.
- Experience or interest in public health work.
- Possess working knowledge of public health principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and facilitating community forums and health projects.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and experience interacting professionally with diverse individuals and organizations.
- Strong motivation and adaptability, including the ability to work under pressure and with independence.
- Demonstrated interest or experience working with AAPI and immigrant/refugee communities and related health issues.
- Must be flexible and willing to work.
