PROFICIENT SKILLS
: Ability to maintain accurate records and data for the ALANHS program. Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5
years of successful teaching experience (gifted or magnet program experience preferred) T-5 Certification or higher Routine physical activities required to fulfill job responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop with staff, students, and stakeholders innovative programming to expand student opportunities in the targeted areas of liberal arts. Maintain accurate records with regard to the overall operation of the ALANHS program including, but not limited to: enrollment, budget expenditures, student records, parent contacts, and other quantitative and qualitative data. Supervise the screening and selection process of prospective ALANHS program candidates. Participate and assist in student activities, which aid in the development of students. Assist ALANHS program teachers and other affiliate personnel through professional development and feedback. Serve as a liaison between the Funding Resource Group (FRG) and the school administration to meet the needs of students. Institute and implement a program of public relations with parents, community, and other stakeholders. Foster the growth and enrichment of the ALANHS program by maintaining partnerships with post-secondary institutions. Perform all other duties as assigned by the principal or her/his designee.
