The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This position involves engaging with toddlers and young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured activities and play. The Daycare Teacher will work collaboratively with staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques. Engage in daily activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas. Collaborate with other staff members to support children’s individual needs, including those requiring special education services. Provide first aid as necessary and maintain a safe environment for all children. Skills Proven experience in childcare or nannying, demonstrating strong caregiving abilities. Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively educate young learners. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured environment. Experience in toddler care, ensuring age-appropriate interactions and activities. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations, including administering first aid when needed.
