We’re more than just a place to play. We’re where communities come to connect, celebrate, and compete. Additionally, this position would also coordinate events for our sister brand, Pickle N Pins. Position Summary We’re looking for a creative, people-focused Social Programming Coordinator to lead the strategy and execution of recurring and one-time social events that enhance the guest experience. From organizing bowling and pickleball leagues to coordinating date nights, DJ events, watch parties, and competitive kart races, this role brings life to our venue beyond walk-in traffic. You’ll be the driving force behind making Surge a go-to destination for both fun and connection—turning first-time visitors into loyal regulars.

Key Responsibilities Design & Execute Guest-Centric Events:

Develop, launch, and manage a wide variety of social events, leagues, and tournaments across our venue’s core offerings (bowling, pickleball, karting, golf simulator, etc.).

Drive Guest Engagement & Repeat Visits:

Build programs that encourage community, competition, and fun—transforming one-time guests into regulars.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally:

Work closely with operations, marketing, kitchen/bar teams, and technology staff to ensure successful, on-brand experiences.

Marketing & Promotion:

Partner with marketing to promote events via email, social media, in-venue signage, and local partnerships. Be a face of Surge in the community.

Build and Lead Leagues:

Launch and manage recurring leagues (e.g. bowling, pickleball, karting) including schedules, registrations, scoring systems, and prize structures.

Create Memorable Moments:

Elevate themed nights, holiday events, birthday and date night programming, and other unique experiences.

Track Results & Iterate:

Collect feedback, track participation and ROI, and refine events based on guest input and performance metrics. Focus on

Drive new revenue streams for the company in a profitable way. Ideal Candidate Profile 2-5 years of experience in event planning, community programming, hospitality, or entertainment Proven ability to organize and promote successful social events Experience managing or participating in leagues, tournaments, or group competitions a big plus Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple events at once Must be willing to travel! This position would deliver extraordinary events for all seven of our locations across Louisiana and Alabama. Overnight hotel stays required as well as you must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed) Outgoing and engaging personality—you’re great with guests and a strong presence on the floor Familiarity with booking systems, basic marketing, and customer feedback tools Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed (our events happen when guests want them!)
