Job Description

Family Justice Center Director Faith House Lafayette, LA 70501 Monitor and supervise the operations and services of the Family Justice Center of Acadiana. 2. Ensure that the guiding principles are followed by all staff and partners to ensure effective, compassionate service to Family Justice Center of Acadiana participants. Be responsible for the interviewing, hiring, supervision, evaluation and termination of relevant staff members. Oversee facility maintenance for the Family Justice Center of Acadiana whether through contact with the landlord on needed repairs or by arranging the maintenance directly. Ensure that bids are obtained on needed repairs over the threshold. Be on-call for emergency situations that arise within the Family Justice Center of Acadiana. Oversee the emergency response for the Family Justice Center of Acadiana, including severe weather preparations. Ensure that all funder required documentation is complete for each program participant. 8. Serve as primary liaison for all participating partners and the Family Justice Center of Acadiana stakeholders and oversee a resolution to conflicts as they may arise among participating partners. 9. Be an active participating team member on various committees as assigned or as requested by community partners. 10. Track cases referred to the High-Risk Response Team, facilitate High-Risk Response Team Meetings, and stay informed on best practices for High-Risk Response Teams. 11. Track domestic violence related fatalities for entire service area. Conduct fatality reviews once cases have been resolved. 12. Track cases set for Gwen’s Law and outcomes of those hearings held in Lafayette Parish. 13. Develop relationships among participating partners and other potential partners in the community. 14. Review and evaluate services, operations and client experiences continually to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients 15. Facilitate on-going strategic planning for the Family Justice Center of Acadiana. Complete and submit relevant reports. Be available for public speaking engagements, including training and education. Be involved in program advocacy and networking for social change. Be willing to fulfill any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or Executive Director. Follow all policies as outlined in the Policy & Procedure manual, the Shelter Policy manual, DCFS Quality Assurance Standards, Code of Ethics, all state and federal regulations.
