Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator provides advanced programmatic support for a faculty suite. This position functions as the administrative lead for the Office of Community, Engagement, and Opportunity (OCEO). This position leads the daily operations in both areas, managing workflow and ensuring a process of continuous improvement in operations. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator provides and coordinates all administrative support for the Office of Community, Engagement, and Opportunity. This position assists with the planning, promotion, and implementation of the Office of Community, Engagement, and Opportunity programs and events. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator communicates with a range of stakeholders. This position assists with conducting OCEO-related research and data management, as well as conducting outreach to current and prospective students, alumni, and employers.
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator performs administrative duties, program support, and academic support for law school faculty by suite or otherwise assigned. Administrative duties include all operations and systems associated with supporting faculty work and general operations broadly in the suite. Program support activities include work associated with faculty led programs and events. This work is usually specific to individual faculty members and can involve a range of activities related to the program. General use of Tulane systems and specific software or other skills may be involved in program support activities. Academic support includes both physical and online or electronic support for all faculty and adjunct staff associated with the suite or assigned. This work includes all activities that are needed for helping faculty deliver the best academic experience for students.
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator performs administrative duties for assigned law school faculty. These duties include course support – creating physical and electronic materials, posting materials to content management systems like Canvas, assisting with classroom technology, preparing seating charts, marking attendance, and helping students. This position provides office technology support for phones, computers, and copiers. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator assists with printing, duplicating, and producing letters and envelopes using mail merge. This position supports travel for individuals and conferences, from booking to payment reconciliation using Concur. This position provides support for faculty publications, including producing drafts, proofreading, and citations. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator manages faculty-led events and space usage in the Law School, using the event management system. This position supports any purchasing needs in the faculty suite. This position provides the center or institute specific support where appropriate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner in a range of settings.
- Excellent oral, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands and/or projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with MS Office software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with standard office machines and equipment.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
Required Education and/or Experience - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 3 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree.
- Familiarity with Tulane University software including Banner, Canvas, Concur, and other applications.

This position is classified as “non-exempt, hourly” and is assigned to pay grade 24.
