Lead Monitor/Security 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars North Dartmouth, MA 02747 The Lead Monitor will be responsible for heading up a team of four staff who will monitor clients at a community based facility serving adult probationers with a history of criminal behavior and addiction. The Lead Monitor is responsible for oversight of all monitoring activities at the Center. S/he is responsible for scheduling of staff, and covering vacant shifts. S/he will be responsible for oversight of urine drug screens from clients. S/he will communicate with Center management on all issues and write reports as needed. Ensures a safe and secure environment for both staff and clients. S/he will ensure that clients enter and exit the building in an appropriate manner and remain in assigned areas.

Job Function:

Supervise all monitoring operations at center Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts Fill vacant shifts as needed Provide direct monitoring of clients in all phases of daily routines including break periods. Monitor all educational and clinical classes/groups Take accurate attendance of all clients. Maintain accurate communications log entries. Collection and documentation of urine screens Write incident reports as needed and communicate concerns to program management Responsible for on-going training of security staff Provide feedback on performance to staff and conduct annual performance reviews Screen and presents candidates for hire to program management Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and trainings as directed. Prevent crisis situations from escalating by intervening and counseling clients. Provide support and assistance in any crisis situation. Maintain work schedule as directed.

Education/Experience/Physical Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or similar field preferred At least one year of supervisory experience required Must have a valid Drivers License Must have visual and auditory acuity in order to maintain security of the center.

Pay Frequency:

Bi weekly or Twice monthly
