The Day Habilitation Specialist plans and conducts a variety of functional and therapeutic groups, activities, and classes focused on skill acquisition, physical therapy, motor skills, social skills, and overall quality of life. You are required to have a safe driving record, pass a 10 panel Drug Screen and drive 16 passenger vans daily. Qualifications Acceptable background check including criminal history background check. Experience and ability to drive 16 passenger size vans. Valid drivers’ license, satisfactory driving record, 1 years of driving experience in a United States, and a minimum age of 19. Satisfactory completion of specific drug test screening. For many programs, a Registry of Motor Vehicle driving record check will occur prior to hire. The results of this background check will be evaluated on an individual basis. Those with an unacceptable driving record will not be offered employment. Each employee’s driving record will be evaluated on an annual basis. If the annual check reveals an unacceptable driving record, it will be grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including, termination of employment.
