The Program Director leads the development and implementation of critical program policies and procedures, oversees all aspects of our Adult Foster Care (AFC) program, and manages personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluation. Having analytical prowess and attention to detail will be vital in fiscal administration, compliance management, and ensuring accreditation standards are met. Collaborating with the executive leadership, the Program Director serves as the “Captain of the ship,” contributing to the growth, membership enhancement, and compliance maintenance with state mandates, alongside combining leadership, financial management, policy development, and collaboration within this position. Success in this role is characterized by the growth of the Healthier You Wellness Program, increased membership, and continuous compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
Program Development:
Work towards establishing additional branches of the Healthier You Wellness Program, including the development and implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
AFC Program Oversight:
Assume direct leadership and supervision of all aspects of the AFC (Adult Foster Care) program, ensuring its smooth operation and adherence to state regulations.
Personnel Management:
Oversee the hiring, training, supervision, evaluation, and, if necessary, the termination of all AFC employees and independent contractors.
- Provide leadership and support for the team’s growth and development.
Financial Administration:
Manage the fiscal aspects of the AFC program, including billing, budget preparation, and the preparation of required program statistical and financial reports.
Compliance and Accreditation:
Ensure the AFC program complies with state mandates and maintains accreditation standards, actively managing compliance with all relevant regulations.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with the leadership team, including executives and other department heads, to drive the company’s success and align program goals with the organization’s broader mission.
Policy Development:
Develop and assess policies critical to the program’s success, ensuring they meet the needs of both the team and the people we serve.
Analytical Oversight:
Analyze and identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize program efficiency. Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in healthcare or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. At least one of those years must have been spent in an administrative role.
- Multilingual preferred in one or more of the following languages: Creole, Spanish, French or Haitian.
- Occasional travel to the office and other sites as needed.
- Ability to walk around and physically oversee the duties of other employees, including site visitations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a people-oriented approach.
- Goal-driven mindset, policy creation expertise, and the ability to assess your team’s needs.
- Strong analytical skills. General Requirements
- Ability to remain stationery and work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Daily responsibilities include repetitive motions, such as typing, that may involve wrists, hands, or fingers.
